This interactive course is fashioned to be of value to everyone from a handyman homeowner to a licensed electrician. This is, first and foremost, a safety training. It begins with basic electrical theory and explores the various wiring methods likely to be encountered by anyone working on both residential dwellings and commercial occupancies. It’s intended to explain the “how” and “why” of electrical system construction, component function, and associated hazards. Reference will be made to the National Electrical Code, various OSHA Standards, and the NFPA-70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
